Sun Li, Doctor, Professor, Doctor supervisior

Professor Sun Li graduated from Dalian University of Technology, and gained doctorate and postdoctorate in the field of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Engineering and Protection Engineering. She is an associate researcher in the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a visiting professor in the School of Machinery and Astronautics of Nanyang technological University in Singapore, and a visiting professor of Endeavour Research Scholarship at Curtin University in Australia. She is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Engineering, a reviewer of the English Journal Sensors and Actuators, and a member of the Civil Architecture Society of Liaoning Province. She is in the“New Century Excellent Talents Support Program” of Ministry of Education. At the provincial level, she is “Special-term Professor”, “Excellent Teacher”, leader of Innovation Team of Colleges and Universities in Liaoning Province, “Women’s meritorious Service”.

She presided over 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the Supporting Program of the Ministry of Education for the New Century, the special-term professor of Liaoning Province, the Innovation Team Program of Colleges and Universities in Liaoning Province, the sub-project of the 12th Five-year National Science and Technology Support Program, and other 13 projects at the provincial- and municipal- level.

She has been and is now responsible for 3 teaching and research projects at the provincial- and ministerial- level, has published 10 standards and 43 papers, and obtained 10 licensed Invention Patents. She has won more than 9 scientific and technological progress awards at the provincial and national levels, and over 6 first prize paper awards.
