Civil Engineering (Undergraduate, 4 Years)

Civil Engineering is the first major to pass the Education Evaluation Civil Engineering Major in National Colleges and Universities in Liaoning Province, and it is the pilot major of “Excellent Engineers Education and Cultivation Plan” and the national characteristic specialty under construction. It ranks first among provincial universities in the Comprehensive Evaluation of Undergraduate Majors of Universities in Liaoning Province, and it is a specialty with advantages and characteristics of undergraduate courses in Liaoning Province, a pilot major of innovation and entrepreneurship reform, a first-class demonstration major of undergraduate education, and a pilot major of internationalization of undergraduate courses.

The major is to set the direction of Construction Engineering, Geotechnical and Underground Engineering, and conduct bidirectional selection by direction at the end of the second year. Courses in Road and Bridge Engineering are offered to ensure the cultivation of talents with a wide range of talents. This major mainly trains senior engineering and technical talents with solid basic theory and professional knowledge of Civil Engineering, basic quality and ability of engineers, and strong ability of practice and innovation for national construction industry.

After graduation, students can be engaged in housing construction engineering, underground engineering, road and bridge engineering and other related fields of investigation, design, construction, management, research and development.
